ABOUT 3SIXTY5

3SIXTY5 is a Premium Personal Training organization with 3 private studios in Abcoude and 2 in Amsterdam. We are considered the leading PT organisation in The Netherlands.

We strive to achieve ambitious but – most of all – sustainable results with our clients. All our 27 top-class personal trainers excel in terms of knowledge, experience, inspiration and passion.

We are 100% committed to helping our clients achieve their desired results. Our clientele consists of a wide variety of people, who all have one thing in common: they are all working towards a personal goal. These goals, like the people themselves, are very diverse and range from losing weight to acquiring a killer body and from resolving physical complaints to preparing for an athletic achievement such as the New York City marathon.

We only work with motivated clients, but do not let that scare you off. Most of our new clients have not worked out in over a decade and currently lead unhealthy lives, so you do not have to worry about encountering only fit and athletic people at our studios. Everyone is welcome and no one is beyond our help.

One of the most underestimated parts of your journ One of the most underestimated parts of your journey: enjoy what you do. Fun will motivate you on days when things go wrong. A fun exercise will give you something to be exited about, even in the toughest times. Too many people are focused on the the top of the mountain, without focusing on the road to the top. More fun leads to more sessions. More sessions leads to more results. More results leads to more fun. #3SIXTY5 #getfittheprofessionalway #personaltraining #abcoude #amsterdam
How to do a lat pull down correctly: The lat pul How to do a lat pull down correctly: The lat pull down works the back muscles, especially the latissimus dorsi. This exercise can be done as part of an upper body strength workout, and is also great in preparation for a pull-up. Step by step: 1. Grab the bar with a supinated grip (as shown at the picture) on shoulder with. 2. Keep your torso upright and pull the bar to your chest. Make sure the bar hits your chest in order to move through a full range of motion. 3. Squeeze the shoulder blades together and visualize to ‘break’ the bar. This creates more tension in your muscles. Hold that position for 2 seconds. 4. From the bottom position with the bar close to your chest, slowly return the bar to the starting position. Don't let it crash into the weight plates. 5. Continue until you complete 10 to 12 repetitions in a set. Rest, then continue to complete your program of sets. This exercise is great to combine with a lower body exercise, such like any types of squats. Good luck! #3SIXTY5 #getfittheprofessionalway #personaltraining #abcoude #amsterdam

The importance of movement preps: Movement preps The importance of movement preps: Movement preps (another, more specific term for a warming up) prepare your body for movement. Compare it to the pilot checking his dashboard before takeoff. 3 habits of highly effective movement prep: 1. Be efficient with your time. Don’t spend 20 minutes warming up on a cross trainer or rolling on a foam roll. 5-10 minutes should be enough. 2. Prep for the movement of the the day. Your warmup should depending on what you will be doing in the gym that day. The more specific your movement preps, the better. 3. Think in patterns, not individual muscles. It’s great to know what muscles control what action; but our muscles are rarely used in isolation of other muscles or movement systems. #3SIXTY5 #getfittheprofessionalway #personaltraining #abcoude #amsterdam
