Kim Feenstra proclaimed that she has “never looked better” since working out at 3SIXTY5. But whether you’re a 35-year-old top model or a 52-year-old burgundy entrepreneur, Guy’s personal trainers have got you covered. Period.

Guy van der Reijden, originally a top sports coach, is the still the driving force behind 3SIXTY5 Personal Training, which is famous in the fitness world.

‘When I founded 3SIXTY5 in 2002, the phenomenon of ‘personal trainer’ didn’t really exist in the Netherlands yet,’ says Guy. ‘I knew exactly what kind of concept it had to be. Small-scale, in the style of a hotel lounge, and of a high professional level. Our 20 personal trainers work by appointment only, with a maximum of three or four clients at a time.

These are mostly entrepreneurs, CEOs and celebrities such as Estelle (Cruijff, ed.) and Winston (Gerschtanowitz, ed.). They need a relaxed and discrete environment, without an audience wanting to take pictures or chatter about them during their workout. And without advances. Our personal trainers – handsome, fit women and men, as you can see – are not allowed to chase the ladies (or men). It’s even in their contract. Trust me, there are a lot of personal trainers who have made a mess of things in that area.

Integrity
Guy continues: “I would also never speak out about personal stories. Not even to friends or family. They know they don’t have to ask me anything. That only compromises our integrity. Because that is precisely why our clients know how to find 3SIXTY5. Word of mouth is the best way of advertising for us, and that only happens when the core values and services are right in all facets of the business.’

Guy: ‘It now seems as if only celebrities train with us, but nothing could be further from the truth. Everyone is welcome and we also coach our less fit fellow men. We are particularly good at that!’

Individual approach
Guy: “And each individual also requires different guidance. At 3SIXTY5, for example, we don’t immediately create a super-tight regime for a typical bon vivant that is diametrically opposed to the starting client’s habits. Nobody keeps that up. We look for an appropriate middle ground and improve step by step. Therein lies also one of success factors of 3SIXTY5: we combine effective with livable.’

Bringing in experts
‘Someone who needs legal advice goes to a lawyer. You hire an accountant to audit your books. Smart entrepreneurs hire experts to get better. In that way, we also want to be the hired “experts” for healthy living. Successful people who use their minds know that good advice is incredibly important.

A 3SIXTY5 client told me the other day that he delegates everything he is bad at to his employees, the only thing that doesn’t work is his fitness. He has to do that himself, unfortunately.’ At 3SIXTY5, we work with self-regulation and balance.

Sure we train hard. But the do it smart and mega effectively and also get you more mobile and rid of your aches and pains. And yes, if you want to get in shape it’s helpful if you stick to your nutrition plan a bit.’
